ABOUT MGMC
Michael G. Meyers Design & Scholarship Competition (MGMC) is an annual event sponsored by Architecture Center Houston Foundation and AIA Houston. This is an ideas competition for high school students, that emphasizes creative problem-solving. Students participate in a series of events, led by architects, such as learning basic architectural drawing skills, and how to understand clients' needs. Winning students receive scholarships to a university or college of their choice.

The program has awarded over $195,000.00 in scholarships over the years. And, many of the past participants have returned to support the program after graduating from college with architecture degrees.

Sponsorship opportunities available here.
