Strong experience managing multiple complex projects from initial programming / design through construction document production is also required. Experience in managing and coordinating all design disciplines on large projects is a must.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp all project design impacts between design disciplines. The candidate must have a professional personality/attitude for representing BWR during client meetings and design reviews. The Position
This is a unique opportunity to work with APA – The Engineered Wood Association on a major, special project. The Training Specialist is a contract position for a duration of one year, with the potential for extension. The role of the Training Specialist will be to develop and maintain relationships with residential builders, building officials, architects and engineers in the Gulf Coast region, providing technical information and training expertise for proper construction techniques. Training will range from formal classroom style seminars for designers to on-site field training with framers. The Training Specialist should be adaptable to various circumstances, personalities and working conditions and must be able to relate effectively with diverse target audiences.
