The Navigator was created by the AIA Houston Intern Advocate Group to assist students and interns regarding the steps to becoming a registered architect in the State of Texas. The Navigator site is offered as a public service, and although every effort is made to provide up-to-date, accurate information, we urge users to verify requirements themselves in their respective jurisdictions. The following pages include steps and direct links to NCARB, TBAE and AIA websites for up-to-date information regarding AIA's Internship Development Program (IDP) and the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).
